The opto-mechanical parts are completely encapsulated and dust proofed, by the complete separation of opto-mechanics and electronics, optics will stay clean from dust and dirt circulated by thermal convection, by using this design it is possible to efficiently cool the electronics in the cooling tunnel and increase the system’s life drastically.

This innovative housing design fulfills today's demands with its robustness and precision and therefore enables the construction of a laser system with no need of maintenance and with completely separated optical and electronic com- ponents. As a result, the optical components are mounted securely with a dustcover incl. AR-coated glass. The cleaning of the optic is herewith eliminated as there is no more collection of dust, smoke or even fog fluid on the optic. The separated mounting of optic and electronic prevents the possibility of a heat jam in the optical part as the temperature drifts from scanning and color mixing units is less than with the conventional structure. The reason for this, is that the electronic is mounted in the bottom part of the housing and is cooled by a fan shaft. The Atlas series includes housings for lasersystems from 5 mW up to 50 W and are also suitable for fiber optic projections and stand-alone displays.

The Atlas housings have been designed for most electronic and hardware components available on the market.

All Atlas housings are delivered with a 230 V connector and 25 pol. SUB-D socket conform to ILDA - standard.
